Employers will issue travel cards to eligible employees who will then telephone to book their journey. The day before you require transport, you phone a central booking system and tell us where and at what time you wish to travel. The bus arrives to pick you up at the time requested, and takes you to your place of work, arriving at exactly the time you require to be there. When you finish work, the bus is there to take you back home.

The service will only be available where there is currently no existing public transport at the time you require it. For example, if you need to be at Hams Hall for 6.00am we can take you there. If you work at Birmingham Airport and your shift starts at 2.00am, we can take you there. If you are looking for work and all that’s stopping you applying for a job is that you have no transport to the workplace, don’t worry, we can take you there. What’s more we can even help you with finding a job through our dedicated recruitment service.

The benefits both to communities and employers are enormous. Not only is the service environmentally friendly, cutting down on the use of cars and therefore road congestion, it will also allow people to gain work in areas that previously they would not have considered.
