What is CAG?

The CAG is made up of local residents and senior members of staff who meet up once a month to discuss the ongoing development of Merlin, our goals for the future and how, working with the local community, we can improve the social, economic and environmental conditions for Castle Vale residents.

We are looking for like minded people with a keen interest in helping Merlin to achieve these aims and maybe suggest other alternatives that we may not have thought about. Whilst members of the CAG have no decision making powers all proposals are taken seriously.

Merlin are also keen to encourage the involvement of young people, who we believe could offer a different perspective on our policies.

How do I join the CAG?

Nothing could be simpler, you will be welcome to just come along to any of our meetings. These are held monthly and are advertised throughout the estate. The dates will also be posted on our website.

Once you have attended, you will receive details of the next meeting and the minutes of the previous meeting by post.

There is no obligation to attend every meeting - but remember your views and opinions are important to us.

Once you have made a decision to participate, Merlin will offer you full support and training to assit in your personal development as a CAG member.
